Beautiful times are coming… It is summer and we are in Switzerland again on the way to Portugal. This place is wonderland. We are in love with this country. Perhaps one day we will live here.

And the fact that we have great friends here makes it even more fantastic. It feels a little bit like home.

This week we have been to Wirzweli that is close to Stans where we stay. We took one of those capsules and up on the hill we had the opportunity to try the summer sledge or summer bob as others call it or Sommerrodelbahn as they call it here.

Anyway we had great pleasure in the wonderful view and the ice cream we had afterwards. It was included in our ticket.

Since the weather is quite hot we went to Buochs to swim in the lake and had a frizbee session with two frizbees. It is good that Mano our dog was not present at the time. It would have been absolutely impossible to make this happen since he loves frizbees.

Today we went to Vierwaldstattersee t to swim a bit. I must say I was a little concerned about the water at first but to my great surprise it was actually not that cold.

This “beach” is on the way to Hergiswill another great little village with the glass museum Glasi which we will visit on the way later. It has a mirror labirinth and another interactive glass museum part with all sorts of awesome games and instruments.

This area is pure magic and a lot of fun stuff to experience with or without children 🙂
