I have been planning to write this post since the summer but other things kept me busy, things like getting used to our temporary accommodation in Hungary, finishing my degree, mourning my dad who had passed away.

I am working full time remotely these days and still trying to figure out 2020. It is in fact my strangest year ever.
Anyway, as some of you may know, our kids are not homeschooled this year anymore.
It has its advantages and disadvantages. The advantage of the kids being in school is that they are socializing and I have time to do other things. The disadvantages are, that they are tired and frustrated and peer pressured …
So in this hectic year we had it all. The kiddos started the school year going to school and finishing it in digital learning due to the Covid 2019 situation.
Who would have thought, right?
We were about to leave to Portugal in March but that unfortunately didn´t happen.
We had to stay in Hungary.
However, we tried to make the best out of this period. We had to deal with things life has brought to us, such as, the loss of my father, but at the same time we were going through all our things such as: books, photos, memories…
We were also building a little garden in a permaculture style so that when we leave it might as well keep flourishing on its own…
