Planting trees is wonderful. Walking in nature, surrounded by the forest and adding one new member to their community is just such a great feeling.

You can plant a tree for any occasion. A birthday, anniversary. You can buy Christmas tree with a root and plant it. Of course some research is needed prior to planting the tree. It is important to know the environment, whether it is suitable for that particular kind. Another very important thing is not to forget about our tree afterwards. It needs caring and nurturing.

You can also leave a sign for others to see that your tree needs water if others pass by and they have extra water they will surely share some with the tree.

As a motivation I would like to share one my favorite movies in this topic. The salt of the Earth by Wim Wenders and Juliano Ribeiro Salgado son of Sebastião Salgado.

This movie is a beautiful testimony about the power of faith not to mention the incredible scenery and the unbeliavable journey of the great photographer’s Salgado’s life.
