Bazar das Artes

So we had this amazing weekend at Azóia, Portugal.

A friend of mine started to gather manufacturers to participate in a weekend fair right after black Friday and on the first advent weekend to create this Planet friendly market in the spirit of supporting small businesses instead of enormous enterprises.

And Bazar das Artes turned out to be something amazing. The atmosphere was friendly, cozy and with the mulled wine it had a real Christmas market touch to it; even though, here in Portugal the sun is still shining and the temperature is way above 0 degrees fortunately.

While Leo Marsh was playing fantastic music, you could wander around with your mulled wine or hot tea, feeding your eyes on handmade wonders like:

Sininho’s beautiful jewelries, organic soaps and dry shampoo bars and other fantastic fragments, essential oils, organic yummies like; sour dough bred by Peter Pão.

There were wonderful ceramics and paintings among the many; my personal favorite: live and exhibited aquarells by Àgota Végső .

This market was an aesthetic feast for the eyes, really.

I can’t wait for the next one.
