The minimalist EDP headquarters building is already worth a visit, and now it hosts the temporary VHILS exhibition until the 15th of April 2023. Free and open air.

It is a pity that the artefacts are behind a fence… It just makes it a bit more difficult to get what certain pieces depict.

The most fascinating part of this exhibition for me was, that all of it goes underwater after the 15th of April to the Algarve. Some of the materials were taken from the now closed power plant of Sines. And there is this nice sustainable analogy that the parts from the power plant got recycled into these ever watching eyes and faces that will be taken over by the sea life in a bit.

It is possible to visit them in their altered form through guided scuba diving tours.
